PULLOVER
-
The principal objective in the use of a pull-out tester system is to validate the withdrawal resistance of fixings on the substrate.
-
A tensile load is applied to the fixing mechanically using the hand crank of the pull-out tester. The gauge displays and registers the peak pull-out force.

UNDERCUT
Advantages of PriLess™ Undercut
-
Great for steel framing when multiple thicknesses are used.
-
PriLess™ undercut head is designed to eliminate the stress that concentrates under the head of Fastener.
-
PriLess™ Special undercut entraps sealant… even when driven at angles.
INSTALLATION GUIDANCE
Speed/Torque to be set
-
An Electric Standard Screw gun with a depth-sensitive nosepiece should be Used to install Primus Fasteners.
-
The speed to be set is 2,000 rpm.
-
Torque clutch to be set at 2 or 3.
-
Driving torque at 18 – 24 Nm (180 – 240 kg/cm).
-
Primus Fasteners to be used with Primus Hi-Torque Magnetic.
-
The fastener is fully seated when the head is flush with the work surface.
-
Overdriving may result in torsional failure of the fastener or strip out of the substrate.
-
The fastener must penetrate beyond the metal structure a minimum of 3 pitches of thread.
Key Points to be noted before Installation
Don’t Use
-
Use of Impact Guns or Hammer Drills is not recommended
